Electric Goddess 8-Inch Brushless Cordless Wood Chainsaw
The Electric Goddess 8-inch Brushless Chainsaw promises to be a handy addition to any DIY toolkit that is already committed to the Dewalt ecosystem. I spent a weekend putting this tool to the test on various wood types to see if its brushless motor could truly handle routine yard maintenance tasks.
Performance & Build Quality
The build quality feels remarkably sturdy, featuring a housing that stands up well to the rigors of outdoor use. Its brushless motor design is a standout feature, as it minimizes friction and heat during extended cuts compared to brushed alternatives.
Day-to-Day Experience
Getting this saw running is straightforward, though remember you must provide your own 18V Dewalt battery since it is not included in the box. The operation is smooth and quiet for a power tool, making it easy to maneuver through tight branches without the fatigue caused by heavier, gas-powered saws.
This saw is ideal for homeowners who frequently prune trees or cut firewood and already own Dewalt 18V battery packs.
Final Thoughts
Overall, this chainsaw earns a solid 4.5/5 rating for its reliability and efficient cutting performance. Considering the $99.00 price tag, it is a fantastic investment for anyone looking to simplify their yard work with a high-quality cordless tool.
